Stratford Launches Second Annual Agriculture Sector Compensation Survey

JULY 2026 - Stratford Group’s People & Culture team has launched its second annual Agriculture Sector Compensation Survey, inviting eligible organizations across Canada to contribute to a national benchmark of compensation practices in the sector.

The 2026 survey will collect confidential information on salaries, benefits, and total rewards programs across a range of agriculture-focused benchmark roles. The findings will help industry leaders better understand current market conditions and support more informed decisions related to compensation planning, talent attraction, and employee retention.

As Canada’s agricultural sector continues to evolve, access to reliable and current compensation data is increasingly important. The survey is intended to provide employers with a clearer view of how compensation practices are changing across the industry and where their organization may sit within the broader market.

The survey takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete. All individual responses will remain strictly confidential, with findings reported only in aggregate.

Organizations that submit a completed response will receive a copy of the 2026 Agriculture Sector Compensation Survey summary report at no cost. Stratford expects to distribute the results by the fall of 2026.

Who Should Participate?

The survey is open to eligible organizations operating within Canada’s agricultural sector. It may be completed by individuals responsible for or familiar with their organization’s compensation and total rewards practices, including leaders in human resources, finance, operations, and executive management.

Organizations may also review the survey questions in advance by downloading the survey preparation PDF available through the survey link below.
