This role will report into the Management Consulting business unit and will be based primarily from home with occasional requirements to be in office.
About You
You are an experienced senior technical (IT) project manager and digital consultant ideally with a mix of consulting and corporate experience. In addition to your domain of expertise you can also demonstrate breadth of experience and are able to influence at the C-suite level. You're a high-potential person and effective communicator who wants more than a traditional corporate career path. You have a minimum of 15 years of experience ideally with a focus on the healthcare or technology sectors and digital transformation.
While this is a term position it will allow us to become more familiar with your work, should future roles become available, You will have the opportunity to continuously strengthen and expand your consulting expertise both through direct experience, coaching and planned development.
What You Will Do and The Value You Will Add
Leveraging your education background and experience, you will work with clients as part of a delivery team to fulfill a senior technical project management role as part of a large digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a leader and take the initiative to get the right work done and do it right, utilizing your technical knowledge and experience.
- Working with the senior advisor and program manager on this project, you will work on a client facing project you will act as a consultant and project manager to solve problems, remove roadblock, plan, track deliverables to completion and generate formal progress reports.
- Manage software vendors who provide implementation services and be able to negotiate with them to ensure the best delivery for the client and closely track their work.
- Manage a project team that consists of participants from the client and vendors.
- Lead and manage medium to large projects with clients working both individually and in a team environment. Deliver high quality outputs and outcomes to clients ranging from assessments, research, reports, and digital implementations.
- Initiate and maintain positive relationships with the client/potential client(s) to monitor current and future opportunities, tracking opportunities, and market trends.
- Plan and run client facing workshops, interviews, gather data, research, analyze and assess inputs.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and ensure Stratford meets their needs with high quality deliverables
- Develop project documentation such as project plan, resource plan, project logs and more.
- Participate in writing SOWs, proposals, RFP responses etc.
Required Experience
- Education required is a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a technical or business domain (Business, Engineering, Information Technology), an advanced degree, or MBA or equivalent is an asset
- Minimum of 15 years at leadership levels and experience ideally with a combination of consulting and corporate delivery experience.
- Project management knowledge and experience
- Experience in Digital and IT transformation projects is a must, including managing large digital projects.
- Experience managing multiple system integrations with the subject matter experts and the integration specialists.
- Project estimation, costing and proposal development are assets
- Experience producing formal reports and presentations to senior audiences.
