Is your intellectual property strategy ready for international growth?
As more Canadian companies look beyond the U.S. to access new markets, protecting innovation on a global scale has become essential—not optional. But navigating foreign IP filings, assessing risk, and deciding where to invest first can be overwhelming without a clear plan.

That’s where strategy comes in.

On Monday, June 9, Stratford Intellectual Property President Natalie Giroux will lead a one-hour workshop to guide you through IP Strategy for Export. Presented in collaboration with Invest Ottawa, this session is part of a special day of programming designed to support Canadian businesses expanding through exporting and e-commerce.

In this practical and insight-rich session, Natalie will explore how to:

    • Approach foreign IP filings with focus and foresight

    • Evaluate the commercial importance of each invention

    • Use competitive IP data to inform market entry strategies

Whether you're filing your first international patent or expanding an existing portfolio, this session will help you make smarter, more confident decisions about IP protection abroad.
