The Best Ottawa Business Awards (**The** **BOBs**), provides a comprehensive snapshot of the National Capital Region's economic performance and business success in a given year.

This year Stratford is thrilled to celebrate some of our clients that were recipients of the 2020 BOBS Awards!

**🎉  CEO of the Year**: [John Sicard](https://www.kinaxis.com/en/blog/author/sicard)

John Sicard assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Kinaxis in January 2016. With over twenty years’ tenure at Kinaxis, John first started at the company as a key contributor to the architecture and development of Kinaxis’ supply chain management solutions in early 1994, and has since held a number of senior management roles in development, professional services, business consulting, sales, marketing and customer support. Prior to his current appointment, John was Chief Products Officer, overseeing all aspects of the product life cycle, including product vision and strategy, design and development, product management and quality assurance.

**🎉  Deals of the Year - Technology: ** [Kinaxis](https://www.kinaxis.com/en) & [Rubikloud](https://rubikloud.com/)

After becoming a major player in its industry, Kinaxis has started expansion into the massive retail segment. The Kanata-based company reached an agreement in principle to acquire Rubikcloud, a Toronto-based software maker, in an all-cash deal worth $60 million USD.

**🎉   #NextBigThing OTT**: [Neurovine](https://www.neurovine.ai/)

Neurovine changes the way concussion patients recover using real-time data and machine learning to personalize your path to recovery. Their proprietary technology lets you return to life without the fear of regression in your recovery process.
