The Stratford team is sending a huge congratulations to our friend and former colleague, Erin Crowe, who has been named the 2022 CFO of the Year for her work with the Ottawa Senators. The announcement came this week from the OBJ and Ottawa Board of Trade ahead of the annual Best Ottawa Business Awards (the BOBs) being awarded on November 24.

Crowe, who rejoined the Senators as senior vice-president and chief financial officer earlier this year, is the fifth recipient of the annual award, which recognizes CFOs who maximize their company’s financial position and growth during a recent period.

“Erin is one of the backbones of the entire organization,” said Anthony LeBlanc, the Senators’ president of business operations. “She brings creativity, leadership and an incredible depth of knowledge to our management team. We are all so happy to see her recognized for her contributions.”

The BOBs are an awarded annually in the fall to 25+ Ottawa businesses. Presented by The Ottawa Board of Trade and the Ottawa Business Journal, they highlight the innovation, leadership and success of dozens of companies in Ottawa and recognize organizations that are driving economic and community growth. The 2022 awards will be awarded on November 24 at a gala in the Westin Ottawa hotel. Categories include: Best Business, Best New Business, Best Performance, Deals of the Year, Newsmaker of the Year and more.

Stratford has worked with Erin in numerous different capacities over the years both as a colleague and a client during her tenures at various other prominent Ottawa-based companies.

Stratford has also supported several companies and C-Suite executives who have been previous BOB recipients, including John Sicard, Jim Taggart and this year's CEO of the Year, Kyle Braatz of Fullscript. We are proud to work with organizations who are leading the way for businesses in the Ottawa area
